Following my two-year run hosting and producing Against the Algorithm, Gayle was offered a role on Creative Block as the show’s producer from then co-host, Gene Goldstein. Goldstein first heard of me from his band, QBomb, being a guest on Against the Alorigthm twice.
During my time on the podcast, I standardized the production workflow of the podcast by creating a production sheet. I also oversaw the podcast’s social media platforms along with developing ways for the podcast to engage in conversations in the animation industry. I also strategized and led the messaging and coordination of the departure of Goldstein in January 2023.
I also hosted a mini-series called Music Box, a spin-off focused on hearing the story of musicians, co-hosted by Goldstein.
In 2023, I stepped down as producer. The show continues to grow and reach further heights.
